Why We Need Your Help

At Last Hope K9 Rescue, we are on a mission to give hope to dogs who have been abandoned, abused, or overlooked. Every day, we save lives by rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters in Arkansas, providing medical care, and transporting them to New England where they have a chance at a better life. But we can’t do it alone—we need your support to continue our work.

This year, we’ve faced unique challenges, but we’ve also celebrated incredible victories:

• Saving a Special Needs Dog: We rescued a sweet dog named Jaxx suffering from cerebellar hypoplasia, a condition that affects his motor skills. Despite his challenges, he found an amazing family who loves him just as he is.
• A Second Chance for a Dog in Pain: A beautiful dog named Hela was surrendered by her family because they couldn’t afford life-saving knee surgery. We helped Hela get the first of two critical knee surgeries she needed, but she still needs more help to live pain-free.

These stories are just a glimpse of the countless lives we’ve touched, but we have so much more work to do.

• $25 covers the cost of essential flea, tick and heartworm prevention for one dog.
• $50 covers vital vaccinations for young puppies, protecting them from diseases in the shelter.
• $100 contributes to a dog’s spay or neuter, reducing the need for euthanasia.
• $250 covers a dog’s transport and quarantine costs getting them one step closer to their forever home.
• $500 helps with the ongoing medical care and rehabilitation of special needs dogs.
