SUMMARY:Make a difference in the lives of shelter dogs this #GivingTuesday!
DESCRIPTION:Giving Tuesday: Help Us Save More Lives\nClick here to donate now!\nThis Giving Tuesday\, you have the power to make a life-changing difference for abused and neglected dogs in need. Your donation will directly impact the lives of dogs rescued from high-kill shelters in Arkansas and brought to New England\, where they will find loving\, forever homes. \n\nWhy We Need Your Help\nAt Last Hope K9 Rescue\, we are on a mission to give hope to dogs who have been abandoned\, abused\, or overlooked. Every day\, we save lives by rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters in Arkansas\, providing medical care\, and transporting them to New England where they have a chance at a better life. But we can’t do it alone—we need your support to continue our work. \nThis year\, we’ve faced unique challenges\, but we’ve also celebrated incredible victories: \n\nSaving a Special Needs Dog: We rescued a sweet dog named Jaxx suffering from cerebellar hypoplasia\, a condition that affects his motor skills. Despite his challenges\, he found an amazing family who loves him just as he is.\nA Second Chance for a Dog in Pain: A beautiful dog named Hela was surrendered by her family because they couldn’t afford life-saving knee surgery. We helped Hela get the first of two critical knee surgeries she needed\, but she still needs more help to live pain-free.\n\nThese stories are just a glimpse of the countless lives we’ve touched\, but we have so much more work to do. \n\nHow You Can Make a Difference\nThis Giving Tuesday\, your donation will have a direct impact on our rescue efforts: \n\n$25 covers the cost of essential flea\, tick and heartworm prevention for one dog.\n$50 covers vital vaccinations for young puppies\, protecting them from diseases in the shelter.\n$100 contributes to a dog’s spay or neuter\, reducing the need for euthanasia.\n$250 covers a dog’s transport and quarantine costs getting them one step closer to their forever home.\n$500 helps with the ongoing medical care and rehabilitation of special needs dogs.\n\nYour donation today will help us save more dogs like Jaxx and Hela and give special needs dogs a chance at a happy\, healthy life. Click here to donate now! \n\nReal Stories\, Real Impact\nWhen you donate to our rescue\, you’re not just supporting our organization—you’re giving hope to dogs who need a second chance. Here are just a few of the lives you’ve helped change: \n\nJ.R.\, a sweet pup with a traumatic past\, now runs and plays in his new family’s backyard\, where he’s loved and cherished.\nAndy\, a senior dog with some chronic health issues\, saved just in time and is now enjoying his golden years in hospice care surrounded by a foster family who adores him.\nJaxx\, a playful Curr with cerebellar hypoplasia\, found a patient and loving home after months of care and rehabilitation.\n\nThese are not just success stories—they are lives transformed\, thanks to the generosity of supporters like you. \n\nYour Support Means Everything\nEvery donation helps us provide life-saving care\, find permanent homes\, and give dogs a future they deserve. We rely on the kindness of people like you to keep our doors open and continue our life-saving work. \nThis Giving Tuesday\, make a lasting impact on the lives of dogs who have nowhere else to turn. Your contribution will help us provide food\, medical care\, transport\, and loving homes for dogs in need. Together\, we can rescue even more dogs from high-kill shelters\, heal their bodies and hearts\, and give them a chance at a life filled with love. \n\nClick here to donate now!

SUMMARY:Ashlar Park hosts the LHK9 Adoption Event!
DESCRIPTION:Join us at Ashlar Park in Quincy\, MA on Saturday\, December 14th for our Adoption Showcase! \nThis event will be held inside the building. Our adoption check-in lines may be formed outside the building\, weather permitting\, so please dress for the weather. \nPlease review how this adoption event will run and then come meet our amazing adoptable dogs in person! \n1. Complete a Last Hope K9 Rescue Adoption Application. *If you are interested in adopting you must submit an application in advance of the event. During the event\, only potential adopters with applications on file will be able to enter the adoption event space* The LHK9 adoption application can be accessed here: \nhttps://petstablished.com/adoptions/personal-information?application_type=Adopt&donation_section=false&form_id=1836&form_type=generic&generic_form_id=1836&pet_id=41469&section=1&selected_pets=false \n*Consider your application status prior to the event* \n2. Fully approved adopters can enter the event at 11:00am. \n3. Adopters with applications in process can enter the event at 12:00pm. \n4. You must submit an application online\, in advance of the event\, in order to meet the adoptable dogs in attendance. \n5. All dogs will be available for deposits\, and based on your application status as well as meeting additional pets & family members\, you may be able to adopt a dog and bring the pup home that day! If you are fully approved and plan to bring a dog home that day\, please remember to bring a 6ft leash (this does not include flexi or retractable leashes). \n6. To help ensure we have enough time to process all adoptions and deposits\, all contracts must be initiated by 12:45pm (15 minutes before the event ends) \n7. Visit the “Discussion” on our Facebook event page to see the list of dogs attending. We will post a list of the dogs by Thursday\, December 12th and keep it up to date until the event! \n*Important notes about meeting your furever family member*:\n– ALL kids under 5 will need to be in strollers or held for safety. We are happy to bring a dog you would like to meet out of the event space so there is more room to meet them.\n– If you are bringing your family to this event\, we have a few spaces reserved for dogs who appreciate slow introductions to new people and places. Children under the age of 16 will not be able to walk through every section of the adoption event. Having a second adult join your family can be helpful as children must be supervised at all times.\n– If you currently have a “resident dog” at home\, please do not bring your pup to the event. Only the adoptable dogs will be permitted inside the event space. We will not be able to facilitate on-site meetings between dogs at the adoption event for everyone’s safety. If you have a dog or another pet at home\, we will have a thorough conversation with you to confirm a potential personality match and will schedule a follow up meet and greet between the animals.\n– We understand that many families have vacation plans throughout the year. If you have a trip coming up\, or some members of the home are traveling for more than 1 week\, please wait to inquire about adoption until after everyone has returned. This applies to anyone who lives in the home including pets and humans: children\, any family members\, roommates. If you fall in love with a dog and want to put a deposit on that dog during the event\, you will have 7 days to welcome them home once your application is approved. This means\, all members of the home must be able to meet the dog during that 7-day period. We are not able to hold dogs during vacations and we will not send dogs to a new home if there is upcoming travel scheduled \nDeposit info: Dogs attending events are available for deposits. Deposits can only be done at events in person and will hold the dog while an application is processed or until they can meet all animals and people in the home\, which must happen with 7 days. The deposit is non-refundable\, but does come off of the total adoption fee if the dog is adopted. \nThank you for your support\, we look forward to seeing you on Saturday\, December 14th! \n\n ATTENDING ADOPTABLE DOGS AS OF THURSDAY\, DECEMBER 12TH AT 9 PM \n\n\nAnnalyse\nAstor NYC\nBoris Chief\nBounce\nBrooklyn NYC\nDeclan\nDottie\nFergie\nFletcher Clark\nFreckles\nGeorgia\nHennifer\nJamie Bronco Auto\nKeith Richards\nLoosey\nMama Jean\nMetro NYC\nMillie Smith\nOlive\nOtto\nPardner Teer\nPep\nSonic\nSteve Benton\nStuart Greystar\nTeddy Ruskins\nThelma
