DESCRIPTION:Join us at Prynne Hills Apartments in Canton\, MA on Saturday October 15th for our Adoption Showcase!\n\nWe are thrilled to be hosting in-person adoption events again in addition to our virtual showcases. This event will take the place of a virtual showcase October 15th/16th and will be held inside one of the property clubhouse buildings as well as on the courtyards around the clubhouse. Our adoption check-in lines will be formed outside the building so please dress for the weather. Out of respect for all volunteers we ask that you wear a mask if not fully vaccinated. Please also wear a mask if you are more comfortable doing so!\n\nPlease review how this adoption event will run and then come meet our amazing adoptable dogs in person!\n\n1. Complete a Last Hope K9 Rescue Adoption Application. *If you are interested in adopting you must submit an application in advance of the event. During the event\, only potential adopters with applications on file will be able to enter the adoption event space* The LHK9 adoption application can be accessed here: https://petstablished.com/adoptions/personal-information…\n*Consider your application status prior to the event*\n\n2. Fully approved adopters can enter the event at 12pm\n\n3. Adopters with applications in process can enter the event at 1pm.\n\n4. You must submit an application online\, in advance of the event\, in order to meet the adoptable dogs in attendance.\n\n5. All dogs will be available for deposits\, and based on your application status as well as meeting additional pets & family members\, you may be able to adopt a dog and bring the pup home that day! If you are fully approved and plan to bring a dog home that day\, please remember to bring a 6ft leash (this does not include flexi or retractable leashes).\n\n6. *New Process Improvement*\nTo help ensure we have enough time to process all adoptions & deposits\, all contracts must be initiated by 1:45pm (15 minutes before the event ends)\n\n7. Visit the “Discussion” on our Facebook event page to see the list of dogs attending. We will post a list of the dogs THURSDAY evening on October 13th and keep it up to date until the event!\n\n– ALL kids under 5 will need to be in strollers or held for safety. We are happy to bring a dog you would like to meet out of the event space so there is more room to meet them.\n\n– If you are bringing your family to this event\, we have a few spaces reserved for dogs who appreciate slow introductions to new people and places. Children under the age of 16 will not be able to walk through every section of the adoption event. Having a second adult join your family can be helpful as children must be supervised at all times.\n\n– If you are bringing your dog to this event\, and wish to meet our adoptable dogs\, please bring a second person with you to hold your dog while you meet our adoptable dogs in the adoption event space. Only the adoptable dogs will be permitted inside the event space.\n\nDeposit info: All dogs attending events are available for deposits. Deposits can only be done at events in person and will hold the dog while an application is processed or until they can meet all animals and people in the home. The deposit is non-refundable\, but does come off of the adoption fee if the dog is adopted.\n\nThank you for your support\, we look forward to seeing you on Saturday October 15th!

DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS CLOSED.\n\nWelcome to the virtual event page for the LHK9 Virtual Adoption Slideshow!\nPlease read the virtual showcase instructions thoroughly\, before submitting your registration (step #2 below) using the sign up form. Registrations that do not follow the steps outlined below will not be considered. Thank you for your patience and support while we create a fair process for all!\n\nLast Hope K9 Rescue is doing all we can to continue operating in a way that best serves our mission to save homeless dogs\, and that means focusing our efforts on opportunities to showcase our dogs virtually and in-person.\nWe’re excited to open this adoption showcase to all potential adopters who have an application on file with Last Hope K9 Rescue! To help serve our adoptive community and help our dogs find their furever home\, the first hour will be open to adopters that have fully completed their LHK9 application approval process (11am-12pm). After 12pm our adoption team will start reviewing all inquires from adopters with applications in-process.\n\nHere is how this virtual adoption slideshow will go:\n1. Submit a Last Hope K9 Rescue Adoption Application. Applications can be accessed here:\nhttps://petstablished.com/adoptions/personal-information…\n\n2. Register to receive the slideshow using this link: REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT HAS CLOSED\n\nNote:\n– Saturday showcases will have registration close on Thursday of that week\n– Sunday showcases will have registration close on Friday of that week\n\n3. On Sunday October 23 all registered adopters will receive an email with a link to browse the available dogs in this slideshow. Please take your time looking through the bios and make a list of your top 5 dogs.\n\n4. Ready\, set\, go! Email adoptions@lasthopek9.org with the list of dogs you are interested in meeting.\nStarting at 11am on Sunday October 23 the adoptions team will start accepting emails from fully approved registered adopters.\nStarting at 12pm on Sunday October 23 the adoptions team will start accepting emails from any adopters with applications in process.\n\nImportant Notes:\n– In order to give everyone time to review the slideshow\, requests received before 11:00am will NOT be considered.\n– You can email any time after 11am\, but the sooner the better to get your interest in line!\n– ONE EMAIL PER HOUSEHOLD. Only the first email received will be considered; additional emails from members of the same household will not be considered.\n– Based on the order in which we receive responses\, as well as determining the appropriate fit for each pup\, we will match adopters and dogs for meet and greets.\n\n*You must have an application on file in order to receive the email with our adoptable dogs*\n\n*Note: We understand that many families have vacation plans throughout the year. If you have a trip coming up\, or some members of the home are traveling for more than 1 week\, please wait to inquire about adoption until after everyone has returned. This applies to anyone who lives in the home including pets and humans: children\, adult family members\, roommates. Once you are matched with a dog you have 7 days to welcome them home\, once your application is approved. We are not able to hold dogs during vacations.
