We’re entirely foster-based and do not have a physical shelter\, so events like this are one of the ways we introduce our rescue to the community!   \nMany people ask us where our dogs come from! Our rescue partners in Arkansas pull dogs from more than ten different shelters and place them with an Arkansas-based foster family where they receive the love\, care\, medical treatment\, and the health certificate needed to transport to New England. After a mandatory 48-hour quarantine stay and an additional health check\, each dog is picked up and cared for by a Massachusetts-based foster family while we search for their forever family.  Each week we welcome approximately 15 dogs of all ages\, shapes\, sizes\, colors\, and breed mixes into our rescue. We love them all and are excited to introduce a few of them to you at this event!   \nDuring this Open House\, we will have a handful of LHK9 dogs attending to socialize with you and advocate for their fellow rescue pups.
